Absolutely, "Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze" by "Kenneth Robeson" (Lester Dent). This book literally turned me into a novel reader. Rarely finished a book before this because they bored me. This was action & adventure like I'd never seen on the printed page. Still read these novels, I'm in my 60s.

I enjoyed your intro and afterword to the Doc Savage movie. Thank you for mentioning Lester Dent, who never quite got the recognition he deserved as the publisher used the house name Kenneth Robeson on the novels. One thing, Ron Ely's name is pronounced E-lee not E-lie.
