So you and I and everyone else are in effect now refunding American corporations for import tariffs, although we paid for most of them in the form of higher prices — which they won’t now lower because they have monopoly power to keep prices high.

Who is Kevin Warsh?
At tomorrow's confirmation hearing for Kevin Warsh, Trump's nominee for Fed chair, expect Democrats to ask questions about any interactions between Warsh and Jeffrey Epstein
This excerpt is from a just-released report on Warsh from Senate Banking Cmte Democrats

Epstein survivor says it's not too late to expose what happened at his New Mexico ranch
Rachel Benavidez, who accused Jeffrey Epstein of assaulting her at his isolated Zorro Ranch, wants his enablers to be held accountable.
All of the above.
If Epstein were alive he’d be in Trump’s cabinet right now.
This will never not be right to me.
If you live in Virginia, tomorrow you have a huge opportunity to make it clear to the GOP that if they want to win, it won’t be by changing the rules and redrawing maps. At least, not without a fight. Vote YES on the redistricting vote, and push back!
NEW: Trump’s scandal-plagued Labor Secretary is resigning.
Two weeks ago, I asked why Trump hadn’t fired her. ⬇️
Not only didn’t Trump fire her, today the White House said she’s “done a phenomenal job.”
The bar isn’t low — it’s gone.
This👇🏼. AOC is the only one stating it clearly and plainly. Do I have any faith that the American people will ever elect a woman president someday? No. I hope I’m proven wrong.
Yea, who needs experts for anything? /s
So to recap:
-$160 BILLION+ unconstitutionally collected in tariffs from 🇺🇸 corps, despite Trump saying foreign co’s pay
-they pass that cost to us
-Now corps collect the💰back… from us?🤔
heads they win, tails we lose!😕🤷🏼 (almost like this was the plan all along)

Tillis is exercising his ability to single-handedly block Kevin Warsh, Trump’s nominee to replace Jerome Powell as the head of the Federal Reserve.

Every day is a good day to Release all the Epstein files. But, there’s plenty of criminal evidence out there. Justice needs to be served on all the rapists — including this brutal abuser with ties to Jeff, Donny, and Russia. ⬇️

Josh Rogin: “Somebody shorted the oil market today by hundreds of millions of dollars exactly 20 minutes before Trump made his announcement—
If you see that once, it could be a coincidence. But that's happened at least three times, if not more, since the war began — that's a pattern”
On multiple occasions Patel’s security detail had difficulty waking him because he was seemingly intoxicated, according to info supplied to DOJ and White House officials. A request for “breaching equipment”was made because Patel had been unreachable behind locked doors
House Judiciary Dems will soon launch an investigation on this.
Stay tuned.
Translation:
This deal is about to be exactly like the JCPOA, minus Obama’s signature
And is the new guy Johnny Appleseed? Trump has to learn a new name.

Trump requires all Visa applicants social media accounts to be public for vetting purposes.

Here’s FBI Director Kash Patel’s complaint against the Atlantic regarding the magazine’s reporting about his drinking habits: storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
A clip from The New York Times reads: "But only the entities that officially paid the tariffs are eligible to recover that money. That means that the fuller universe of people affected by Mr. Trump’s policies — including millions of Americans who paid higher prices for the products they bought — are not able to apply for direct relief. The extent to which consumers realize any gain hinges on whether businesses share the proceeds, something that few have publicly committed to do. Some have started to band together in class-action lawsuits in the hopes of receiving a payout."
The average American family paid $1,700 in tariffs last year, according to the bipartisan Congressional Joint Economic Committee. Few will ever see any of that money back. The refunds will go to companies, if doled out at all. What a joke.
New data analysis has found a pattern of major spikes ahead of public actions from Trump, furthering suspicions of insider trading.
The analysis uncovered 6 Polymarket accounts created right before the US struck Iran that won a total of $1,200,000 on predicting the military operations.
Lawsuits like this often have a purpose beyond winning in court. They make journalists and outlets think twice before publishing. That's the chilling effect—and it's very real.
The Atlantic isn't backing down. Good.
