Digging my new Blondie t-shirt that arrived yesterday! Blondie drummer Clem Burke died on April 6 and I was saddened by his passing. I’ve been a big Blondie fan since I was 9 or 10 years old. I had a big crush on Debbie and I loved Clem’s frenetic attack on the drums. So it’s kinda bittersweet.

My latest drawing is of actor Anya Taylor-Joy and it’s based on a picture from a photoshoot were she is wearing a 60’s styled mod/ stewardess outfit. She had a similar look in the film “Last Night In Soho” which I loved.

My latest drawing was inspired by a 1984 photo shoot of Jody Swafford who was featured in Penthouse magazine wearing a strategically placed tie. I dressed her as a revolutionary in a red shirt and beret on the night before the uprising.

Today I grabbed my Gretsch and blew through “Human Fly” by The Cramps. I’ve loved them since I was 14 and Poison Ivy is one of my favourite guitarists of all time! I didn’t butcher this too badly, but why am I swaying back and forth like I am in a rocking chair? Ha!

A couple of weeks ago I got a new guitar amp, I t’s a Fender Champion II 25 and it’s a pretty sweet! I’ve been learning the Sisters of Mercy song “Temple of Love” and I was working out the different sections and I got a pretty good sound going. Nice sustain and a real nasty chugging tone!

I finished a drawing of Lydia Lunch yesterday on my iPad entitled "Baby Faced Killer". Turned out alright in my estimation.
