Thanks Sebastian! This certainly looks to be the direction I’m going in. I’ve been using AudioFinder for my SFX library, but it may be time for me to upgrade to a more serious tool.

What is everyone using for organising and searching their film/tv score libraries? Looking to speed up my process for laying in temp music while editing. #postchat

Short explanation is that LucidLink is a tool that is used for syncing files between people working in different locations. Looks just like a drive on your computer. In particular it works well for video/film and makes it feel like you are sharing a server with people in the same building.
Premiere for this film, but will be trying Avid on it next.
Brilliant! Any tips that would be good knowing?
Oh I’m in that stage right now.
Loving LucidLink for editing. Currently working with a team of four people all in different parts of the globe and IT JUST WORKS. Feels like they are in the next room.

Watched Highlander 1986 last night. Highly enjoyable batshit crazy 80s cinema that felt like half the budget went to cocaine (as all good 80s films should). Pretty sure Christopher Lambert was the guide for Tommy Wiseau’s persona. Oh and the bad guy went on to be the voice of Mr Crabs on SpongeBob!
criminal that this has so few views
I just found an Easter Egg on the HEAT Blu-ray, an early edit of the Pacino/De Niro coffee shop scene, created early in the film's production when director Michael Mann wanted the scene to be shorter and have a lot less dialogue.

Varidesk standing desk converters are pretty good. Have had three screens (on monitor arms), keyboard and Wacom on one. Solid. There are a few different types depending on your needs.

Figured I'd bring over some of my favorite resource threads from Twitter to Bluesky in case I lose them over there one day. First up: Film Editing Books. I've put in the time to read them and picked my favorites below 🧵 #postchat #postsky
This is a solid tip. Can’t tell you the number of times I would have used this.
