Why last? And when are you going to play on Ireland?

The draw distance is quite far. I like the animated compass too. I would love to see a slower-paced game, like Mike Singleton's Midwinter or Mercenary but the engine looks versatile enough for any use.

Is the Next capable of supporting Gouraud shading? That would take it into Starglider 2 territory and allow things like reasonably-convincing human faces.

What about Iggy Pop? I don't see any right-wing 180 on Google.
