I have now replaced and installed a Graphics card, PSU, HDD and SSD, and removed a disc drive!
While I still don't feel confident enough to build a PC, I feel I'm getting half way confident at replacing parts.

So, it's just one of those games where I'm so close, but have to give up. Sad, but true.

So I thought I'd see about Silksong, now I know I won't worry about trophy hunting, and serendipitiously, it's coming to GamePass in 3 days.
Sometimes the world just works out!

So I beat Hollow Knight, even beat Radiance on the first try after swapping out for a DPS build instead of defence, health, spells and charged power and failing for days.

But now I know my skill ceiling...and there's 3 Trophies left to earn... and I'm confident I can't beat a boss rush...

Also, I'm a little upset at how many enemy types were removed, but absolutely loved the new types added in!

Definitely. I put over 200 hours in, got the Platinum, but unlike DD:DA, I didn't feel the need to replay more times, get better gear, or higher levels.
If it had a bonus dungeon for infinite replay, it'd be great, but I've reached the point where no enemy challenges me, and it makes me a little sad

So, I've had a while to think on it...
I still prefer Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisin to Dragon's Dogma 2, but DD2 is more fun than Vanilla DD1.
If there was a Bitterblack Isle style dlc, I'm sure my opinion could sway, but there are some things that keep DD2 a little hindered

I honestly feel like I've been running on empty since October, and haven't had a chance to truly rest and reflect.

I am ready for the year to end already....what do you meant it's only been one month?!

Thanks. I know she was technically a senior dog, but she was too young! Just...all went wrong all at once sadly.

Fuck cancer, and fuck what it does to a body even when beaten!

Thank you to the vets who did everything theh could to save her, and make her comfortable at the end.

She beat cancer, but it literally took all her energy to do so.

I have never known a stronger dog, she was rejected from two litters, a scrawny runt who became a wall of muscle and energy.
She was taken too soon, and it breaks my heart so much.
I'll miss you River roo.

I just want River to get better. Seeing her so confused about what's happened to her and not understanding why she's in pain breaks my heart. I hope the pain passes quickly.

Whelp...looks like River's stitches came out too soon... she's okay tho! Just very stressful for her to see the vets now, she's absolutely terrified of them since the Op...

So, good news bad news situation.
Good news; River is healing nicely and has no follow-up issues from the surgery.
Bad news; she seems to have diabetes

River has no spread, and was still a low grade tumor, fully removed! Only 1cm spread from tumor. Will need lymph nodes checked twice a year, but all clear!

So, it looks like my palette has finally developed a tolerance for spice and I can eat curries easier! Good thing too, been craving them for weeks!

Flicking through the channels to watch TV while River is under observation, to find out there's a whole ass Spongebob Channel....
