I'm in the San Diego suburbs, and we had a bond vote to rebuild an elementary school. The district kept saying, "We have to rebuild -- it's almost 40 years old!" and I kept thinking about my NJ elementary school, which was a good 50 years old when I went there in the 70s, and they're still using it.

...and the president happens to be unusually thin-skinned in a very public way.
Unbelievable ending. Again!
A medium-sized tan dog nestles amongst many, many pillows on a king-size bed.
He's so cozy, I almost don't want to disturb him (but I really need to go to bed). #dogs #nesting
I assumed this was a joke.
I'm so tired.
"resolves itself somehow" is an absolutely unhinged phrase for a high-ranking administration official to use with regards to a war the aforementioned administration started.
This is where you see the value of a functioning press, and what we lose when we don't have one. This would have been a great question!
I'm in California -- $4.25 gas would be a dream come true.
It sounds like gas prices were already threatening the global economy, so now we've decided to double down. Fantastic.
Lol Sean Spicer, forgot about that guy.
Beautiful video! We don't seem to have bumblebees much where I live, so I appreciate you sharing!
A tan dog is asleep on a dog bed. He has one leg and paw draped over a lavender dog toy (in fact, an axolotl), and his chin rests on the toy's tail.
We think our little guy has some whippet or greyhound in him, and he will occasionally snuggle with a favorite toy. Maybe we should try a bigger one?
Is it my imagination or do greyhounds love large stuffed animals more than any other breed?
It's truly mind boggling
National humiliation. The sundowning president and useless secretary of state are at a UFC match while the village idiot of a VP and a couple of ignorant billionaires fail at ending the stupidest war.
I knew it was bad but really didnβt appreciate it was quite this bad

I love that this guy landed in my timeline because I follow the Moss feed. π
Every single one of the astronauts who went to the moon and back on Artemis II was educated at a public school.
Thinking of the teachers who poured into Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen tonight. You helped send a kid to the moon!

Those are beautiful!
A happy black dog lies on a green lawn. She has cute ears that point out to the sides. When she's excited, they stand up. This is the day we brought her home. The lawn is less green now.
As it turns out, she has only a trace of Labrador, and is mostly German Shepherd with a smattering of herding breeds and bully breeds, and a pinch of lab, golden, and chow. Very smart, energetic, and happy. She needed a job, so we do agility.
A black dog lies on a dog bed next to a swimming pool on a sunny day. She is stretched out on her back, with her hind legs flopped open, her mouth open and her tongue lolling out the side.
I posted this pic in reply to something but I love it so much I think it deserves a post of its own.
This is Lucy. We adopted her a year ago, when she was ~1 year old. She'd been brought into a high-euthanasia shelter as a stray, and was thankfully sprung by Labs and More, a local rescue.
Beautiful dogs, beautiful landscape! π
She is a particularly joyful dog. π
Old enough to remember when teen pregnancy was the problem.
A black dog lies on a dog bed in the sunshine next to a pool. She is lying on her back, rear legs flipped open, mouth open and tongue lolling.
I mean, really.
A tan dog and a black dog are pictured poolside on a sunny sat. The tan dog is standing, while the black dog leisurely reclines on a dog bed.
Slackers! Lounging by the pool in the middle of a weekday!
@onlypadres.bsky.social almost an immaculate inning -- so close!
Forwarding this to my dogs -- they've been slacking off in this department. π π π
One of the most brazenly corrupt events in history will take place tomorrow when Jared Kushner represents the U.S. in critical negotiations with Iran to end the war while he accepts millions in fees (and billions in investments) from the Saudi govβt which has been lobbying Trump to continue the war
I think many people support Israel existing, but I think you're wrong about the "unqualifiedly."
