'Content' is the bane of modern football. Teams have had ups and downs since the game started. These days a down has to be a crisis. It's not just us, it's Arsenal too. The psychodrama is tedious and plays into the chemicals coarsing through the suggestible brains of fans.

Next Spurs manager, before Saturday?

No. You must. Mean, it may be, but you have to do it. It's 'the way'.

Their midfield might need some help, too. And defence.

If Slot stays, they will have to succeed straight away or the unrest will grow.

Big 6 months for them.

Will they keep Slot? Can they truly on Isak, especially as Salah is out and Ekitike is injured?

D'oh...PARKING spaces.

And YET people still insist on slowly banking into parking spaces 🫣

Great point.

Slightly connected, we live over the road from a rural pub. Before Covid there was at least one fight every Friday and Saturday night. Since Covid we have seen or heard five. I'm not sure what that says, but it fascinates me.

It feels like steam is being let off into politics.

Liverpool too. Next season for them could be a defining one. They need to get their summer exactly right or they could end up in Man U of the past 10 years territory.

Villa's situation is also interesting. They've clearly fallen off. What's their PSR situation like?

The league is crazy.

Great points Steve. Leicester are a warning sign.

Ranieri is genius, but by the time he went the die was cast.

You make a top point about people being paid to make a decision on who is manager.

Ultimately fans arguing about keeping or changing Howe is hot air. The exec team will make that call, including Howe.

Until they make it Howe has earned our support.

I can't seem to access the article, but Silverstone left ages ago and is now at Juventus. I'm assuming Craig is saying that his role was never filled and they are planning to fill it now.

In what sense a show? Of support, or to add to his value?

This Anderson guy is interesting. Worth a punt?

Kaminski though!

That's the truth. The rules are a brick wall.

The squad is a big problem. At least 3/4 have underperformed badly. The half decent ones are going to be targets for CL clubs.

Not ideal.

George took the you know what out of my hair once, so I showed him a picture similar to this. He did admit his 'do' was worse.

Top guy, by the way.

The best I worked with was this guy called Gen. He had this extra icy demeanour, as if asking him any question would be your worst mistake. We went for a pint one day and he explained that if he didn't transmit this energy then he would get no peace, and no work would get done.

This guy here is the embodiment of most IT guys I worked with. The observation is spot on!

Isn't there also an element of blocking out the noise of colleagues who create mental roadblocks? I can recall from days working with people that a lot of time was spent dealing with unnecessary drama.

The IT guys seemed to be masters at steering clear of any of that.
