Correct me if I’m wrong but it appears Mater plans to 3X the size of Phillip Randolph rent & services free. The original date on the letters is 10/8, so DCPS has until Tuesday, 10/28 to object but only by offering other buildings but the charter corp. isn’t required to comply.

I’m sick reading the Schools of Hope details. The state of FL is attempting to seize Duval owned public school facilities & let for-profit charter corporations use them for free. DCPS must pay for all school services even though the charter corp. plans full takeovers in 5 years.

Mater Academy out of Miami has submitted a proposal to start taking over A, B, C rated public schools. That was never part of the charter school deal.
