It's still one of the most fun and experimental stories in the show's history, and one of my favourites for the RTD2 era, but it doesn't take the top spot, not when stories like Boom and Wild Blue Yonder are out here having something to say or just being phenomenal standalone episodes of sci-fi TV

It makes me dislike the whole scene with the fans even more since that already felt out of place and overly dragged out, and having that scene being milked for emotion at the end was just felt forced and fake. If Reg and Helen were the focus this could've been one of my all time favourite episodes!
DW to play with, commentating on Hollywood puppeting dead actors for the sake of emotionally manipulating their audience! But instead it just falls into what a lot of this era and especially the pantheon stories do where it suggests a message or idea only to instead focus on wacky spectacle.
Looking back I think the biggest flaw with Lux is that it doesn't go far enough in some places, specifically the stuff with Reginald and Helen. The idea of someone seeking emotional comfort by having someone they love being resurrected through film is a fantastic idea that has so much potential for
That stage had so many figments in it...
...so maby figments
It's perfect that it's been 10 years since I started doing this furry stuff and the guy that got me into it in the first place makes a comeback during my 10th year
Do you ever just instantly gain awareness during a dream but its so situational that you can't really tell if you were actually lucid dreaming or that it was a scripted event?
Also I can't believe they shitcanned my scene where me and Fox passionately made out beneath a shower of starbits in the hot tub galaxy
A but late to the game but I just got back from the Starfox movie, it was decent fun, 6/10 methinks
I don't know what the obsession with Mario Galaxy stuff was though at times it felt like they were trying to make a Mario Galaxy movie or something
Aaaaaaaand that's me beat Future Connected
God damn it was a ride and a half, I need to do NG+ and 100% beat all of Xenoblade DE, that's my goal by the end of the year and I'm gonna try and get X2 as well! In the meantime I'm gonna chip away at my own library, maybe some R&C, Sly or Megaman X!
This is probably the most engaged I've been with bts rumours and speculation for an upcoming episode in my entire time watching DW purely because I don't give a care about spoilers because I know for a fact I'm skipping this episode/any season that has a nostalgia stunt cast lead
I second this, it'll be fun and the years will fly by!
Bring on the Wilderness Years 2 then!!!
We're talking about Clawhauser here, I'm sure there's room for us both, he is a big guy after all~
How about you go Diane and I go Clawhauser
I don't really take that as a sign he's coming back, I think it really is just them trying to reach for something interesting to talk about since the show's in a coma at the moment
That being said yeah Tennant is coming back 100% they're not gonna bring Billie back and NOT do that
Which character suit though?
Rest in peace, absolute legend
What can I say, I'm a responsible pet owner!
No pups shall starve if I have anything to say about it! ๐ค
I feel like it's a race to try and keep Russell as far away from your favourite classic villain as much as possible. If your favourite villain gets announced for RTD the alarm bells should start going off
A pup needs to be properly nourished after all!
My life has peaked here and I'm fine with that
So for this Easter week I've had
1 Chocolate Orange that I bought for a bus journey
Another Orange as a gift from a family member
A 3rd Orange from reduced chocolate sale
2 Orange Easter eggs from family members
1 packet of Orange Mini Eggs
A 4th Orange that came with the egg
All in 7 days
Actually nah Russell isn't going to explain it in the episode because he forgot
Nah, the Monk doesn't feel demanded enough for a return. Russell is going through an iconic S tier classic series villain list, and the Monk is more B/A tier methinks.
I'm still calling it that it's something to do with the Valeyard, he feels like a more "checkboxy" return type villain
I wouldn't say fat, just well looked after!
I just feel like I'm back to being where I was when I began this furry stuff, but with all the stuff 14 year old me thought he'd never have, a local community, other furs to talk to, art skills, a naughty side, it's so refreshing to be back at square one in a sense!
designing my new sona, talking about him and seeing the art other people are making, it's put me back to the beginning, wanting to improve, I've got this kick to bust out the dusty old Wacom and doodle my lemur boy! And years after giving up on getting a fursuit, I'm back to wanting one desperately!
Scotland, I was stuck in the "NSFW is bad" mindset, and I couldn't draw for shit, but now a full decade later I've found my local community, I've overcame my "pure" era, embraced my unapologetic weird side, and improved my drawing quite a bit! I have fallen off from drawing consistently, but
