I have come up with a school of #fiction. I suggest Possibilism as a name, works that fall on the probable side of the possible, like a Carnap #Realism — the standard that fictional propositions must cash out in demonstrable human and social mechanics, that the machinery must actually work.

You notice the controller in the person's hand. That's zero productivity gain unless it's trained for simple repetitive tasks in a controlled environment, factory work in designed plants.
This is not a revolution. It's a pogrom and it will leave a massive hole in aggregate demand.

It's not out of whole cloth. If one looks with care one sees a reaction to the revolutions of 1848 that has raised its head from time to time. We are not hegemon. That's how authoritarians see us. We are first among equal trading partners. That's how we see us.
The devil is in the vocabulary.

I've actually put three vignettes out of twenty in the publishable file. #Editing is its own aesthetic. It's not like creative #writing which, when it's good, tracks directly to the oral tradition. Editing is the stuff of Google, of Wikipedia, and of Claude ripping my work to pieces.

Transformer based AI is a probability engine. It's only probably correct. You have to have a human in the loop to correct its mistakes. That only translates to an increase in productivity of around 300% in select industries over a generation.
