Getting ready for @jordanconinc.bsky.social and my banner didn't happen, but one of the BEST #pivots ever. I'm using the map of the multicultural planet I've been, literally, world building book by book, story by story.
It's nice to see the #landscaping coming along. Two different plots near each other. Side by side comparison of the month's work. All by hand.
I call it exercise. A lot of Core Days, and Arm days. I am definitely feeling much stronger than I did when I started. I promise I'll get back to #writing.

Since this will be a mixed garden bed of herbs, flowers, and produce... not the plants I want in there.
You'll also see the plans. Where the bottle necks are is where gravel will be for drainage. There are drainage holes in the wall. One day's work. More to come.
I have been wanting to finish this bottle wall garden bed FOR YEARS. This is with all the accumulated leaves blown off. Under all that is a network of vine roots spread throughout.
Seven bags of gravel, and two bags of seed starter soil, and a bunch of seeds planted.

Yeah. The thoughts in my head have been both painful and powerful.
This is how I'll combat my waves of undefined grief: books, music, coffee or tea in the mornings. Headier books during day. Nonfiction, more intense fiction. NEW fiction.
Lessen the noise of the world.
