Pathfinder's great! Fun mechanics and there are a lot of queer and trans characters in the official setting. For example, Sarenrae, Desna, and Shelyn are all in a romantic relationship together!

For sure, we need to elect progressives from the bottom up and primary the establishment Dems where possible. I love the idea of an actually good third party, but I don't think it's realistic while we still have first past the post voting for the presidential election.

Why are people talking about the midterms and the next presidential election? Musk's regime has made it clear that there is no peaceful, legal scenario where they'll cede power. Saying we have to hold on for x number of years and then we'll vote them out is naive.

I love that story! It's so grounded and well written that it puts a pit in my stomach whenever the confrontations happen though lol

It's so nice being in a city that's accepting. I tend to present less visibly trans when I visit my hometown because I just don't feel safe there.

It's so good! It's also very refreshing to see the commentary on how much of a woman's life is assumed to exist for the sake and pleasure of men.

Growing up in a small town in the US, labels definitely felt heavier in terms of the baggage and stigma attached to them. You definitely stand out more than you would in a big city and that can feel like more heat than some people want.

I imagine it's pretty similar in Canada

I think some people enjoy the aesthetics of queerness, but still don't actually view being queer as real or legitimate.
They see the LGBTIA community as not "normal" and dislike the idea that a character they like or wrote doesn't fit into that sense of normalcy.

To my fellow trans folk:

Get strong, learn self-defense, find your neighbors and stay together
