School libraries don't need you to donate copies of banned books. They need you to step up and run for the school board so the books don't get banned in the first place.
I think it’s a balance. You need shitposters, celebrites, news, sports. None of the alternatives have the mix right at scale yet, but one could get close enough to kill twitter. Musk promotes the two things most people want the least: nazis and dummies who want to force you to pay attention to them
