Yeah please still feel free to send money to our Illinois PP affiliate which sees so many out of state abortion patients and provides so much gender affirming hormone therapy, please help me continue seeing my patients. I care about them all so much.

The lack of resources is startling: Since the
U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, Planned Parenthood has enjoyed a fundraising boom, **with $498 million in donations that year. But little of it goes to the state affiliates to provide health care at clinics. Instead, under the national bylaws, the majority of the money is spent on the legal and political fight to maintain abortion rights.**
Clinics are primarily funded by Medicaid payments for non-abortion procedures and donors who give directly to the affiliates. But

Donations to PP national may not be going where people think they are. If people want to support direct services, they should donate to a local PP affiliate and/or to an abortion fund.

Silver linings: the Taco Bell near me is consistently the worst I’ve ever been to, but today they got my order perfect and they didn’t skimp on anything

Every time I remember Stephen Miller designed this rush of orders to burn me out specifically I get a new burst of energy from the spite alone. The very thought of my exhaustion giving him an ounce of joy makes me want to burst through walls

I’m not saying this bill doesn’t matter because it does normalize abortion bans and spread abortion stigma + disinformation.

However, it’s important for folks to know that this particular bill has been introduced by every Congress since 2011.

Unnecessary panic and fear harms abortion seekers.

Remembering how when Trump disbanded the pandemic response team in 2018 countless experts at the time warned it was only a matter of time before a global pandemic would hit. And were ignored by him.

Is there some reason why they don’t want people to fly? Gutting airport safety isn’t making sense to me

Was literally talking to the union representing federal air traffic controllers earlier today about how there’s already a major shortage of air traffic controllers and the resignation offers they all just got from OPM could seriously endanger public safety.

Wanting to listen to more music this year! I want to listen to a different album a day; drop your recs please! Genre doesn’t matter but I will say I am not a big lyrics listener so I probably won’t enjoy albums where you think the best aspect is the lyrics!

A smart school promising a zero-AI curriculum could capture an elite market niche when those at the top of the hierarchy start to demand actual education from real live professors for the kids.

Educational stratification with the poor getting AI "teachers" and the rich getting humans is the plan.

Idk if im late to the party but I’m watching the Lisa Frank documentary and I’m only on ep 2 but I keep waiting for the bombshell story but so far it’s just typical capitalism and the former employees seem to think that’s unjust and uncommon 😩

Sorry to be a stickler for technicalities but nobody is nominated for anything until Trump actually becomes president. Not saying not to report or react to these planned nominations but maybe don't do it in an inaccurate and misleading way please! Thank you!
