The DLC is really special. The base game was a little rough around the edges at launch, but still showed so much promise. Overture shows their growth as a team, as well their continued sense of creativity, especially in weapon and systems design. I hope you enjoy it!

When I hear “Music Designer”, I anticipate a more holistic set of responsibilities. They should be aiming to meet the expectations of a Sound Designer, including editing, baseline implementation skills, pre-mix, etc. Depending on seniority and team size, this can include systems design.

Subjective, but I’ve seen Implementation / Integration used interchangeably to mean “get music assets into the game”. Sometimes that just means middleware, other times it’s holistic. It usually includes some music editing responsibilities but not always.

Friendly reminder that EA’s photosensitivity tool (IRIS) is free for everyone to use if you need it. In this case, it could save literal lives.

Criticism is great, essential even. Just be specific, and preferably understanding of the process of creating something in a collaborative setting.

Good: “This didn’t resonate with me.”, etc.

Bad: “Dude, this thing you worked on SUCKED…” “Ok” “…like, just AWFUL dude…” “Ok.” “…like, why would anyone ever make this?” “OK!”

• Normalize not enjoying art / entertainment your friends have worked on.
• Balance that by not being a jerk about it.
