Imagine dreaming of a world where medical science could provide the right care at the right time thanks to increasingly accurate analysis... And then wanting to do eugenics against a group of people instead of helping them live the fullest life. As should be the goal of medicine for all people

The Trump administration, from top to bottom, is filled with spiteful malicious bullies who insist that they're innocent aggrieved victims.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals is out with a new (very bad) decision, and it's a doozy.

The Fifth Circuit says that Texas can require the Ten Commandments in classrooms. But somehow it gets worse.

You'll never believe what this speaker--now cancelled thanks to "free speech" warriors like TPUSA & Sen. Mike Lee--posted about Charlie Kirk.

She said she was "gutted" by his murder. She described it as "horrific" and said it "should have never happened." And then she went on to post Kirk's words.

New poll: 55% support impeaching Trump Support for impeachment rivals levels during Donald Trump's first presidency, when he was impeached twice, and for impeaching Richard Nixon after the Watergate scandal

"A new poll conducted April 10-14 finds 55% of U.S. adults say the House should vote to impeach Trump. 37% oppose, 8% are unsure. A surprising percentage of both Republicans and Trump’s own 2024 voters say they would support impeachment if a vote were held today."

The Washington Post Editorial Board was fine with Republicans gerrymandering in Texas.

But when Democrats responded in Virginia, it’s a “power grab” that “plunges America deeper into the gerrymandering abyss.”

I hate to hand it to Hakeem Jeffries, but "maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time" needs to be the Dems' guiding principle for at least the next 6 to 8 years.

The thing is you have a Secretary of Defense who quite literally does not think germs are real, he explicitly rejects germ theory

The question to ask isn't "why did pete do (x)," it's "why did roger wicker vote to confirm a guy who literally doesn't think germs are real"

this is why Dems need to go as hard as possible on reforms and actually fixing things rather than kick the can, because "people will remember how bad things were and not put these folks back in charge" is a demonstrably false statement

Short of fusion coming online; wind, solar, and SMRs are the future of power bc you can scale by region and demand w/ minimal impact to the environment. Only the largest metropoles and compute projects will be able to justify large reactors. Hydrocarbons probably have another 30-50 years left.

Being anti-middle management is one of the dumbest positions that smart people take. I'm in an organisation that slashed middle managers and nothing gets done because execs are swamped with paperwork and there's no resilience when someone senior resigns

A screenshot of a thread on X (formerly Twitter).
The original post is by Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) and reads: "Gay surrogacy and gay adoption are predicated on the idea that gay men (or women) have a 'right' to become parents. This idea is not only morally insane but also logically incoherent. It’s exactly like jumping off a building and claiming that you have the right to fly. Nobody has the right to defy the laws of nature. Where would such a right even originate? Two men cannot be parents. It’s impossible. Doesn’t matter how they feel or what they want. It cannot be. The only 'right' at issue here is the right of the child. And the child has a right to be raised by a mother and a father, not two men masquerading as mother and father."
Jenna Ellis (@realJennaEllis) replies: "This same logic is the reason Obergefell should be overturned. Two men do not have a 'right' to be married either."
