In our grocery lines, our driveways, our goddamn living rooms. These people cook your food, fix your roofs, raise your children.
This is what it looks like when the machinery of fear rolls through your neighborhood. Not some distant border checkpoint—right here, in Austin.
No criminals. No threats. Just people. Human beings. Vanished in broad daylight by men with guns and acronyms.
The official line: “targeted arrests.” But I saw the aftermath. A teenage kid at the corner store, shaking, telling me they took his grandmother, his aunt, and a friend’s boyfriend.
Wooten Park looked like a war zone today—ICE agents in ERO vests, SWAT trucks blocking the street, Texas DPS skulking like snakes in tall grass.
With Trump and Musk, it’s not just a lack of ability—though God knows that’s part of the circus. The real rot is a void of wisdom and self-awareness. Raw, thrashing plans without empathy or foresight. Jet engines on a shopping cart. Hollow men with loud toys.
Most tabletop games aren’t epic. They unravel session by session in water-stained notebooks, interrupted monologues, and half-muttered regrets. The story creeps in between a bad roll and the sound of someone trying not to laugh too hard.
Start at Gimpy’s and ultimately end at Gimpy’s. The Meat Market is where they decide if they’re going to any drinking establishments in Bad Side. Apparently it’s a pub crawl mini-campaign at this point.
