Totally... since the success of a book about the sky falling, everything has been like bad print french wallpaper

This is not an unboxing
Or a picture of my dog

Just me with Pieces of Us in my hands for the first time

I've a theory.... that if ALL teachers carried a book with them at all times, far more reading conversations would take place....Role models... Kind of do as i do not as i say

Who is up for moving #Worldbookweek to summer term, so we (authors) get to see some of the places we visit instead of walks in the dark and staring Travelodge walls

10 years ago, totally pee'd off with copy ed job, i 'd return to my lodgings in north ealing and watch the planes come and go from Heathrow.

10 years ago, We Used to be Kings was published. I wrote it with the help of a young student at Bath Spa, now one brilliant friend.
As we wrote, we had an "in " joke about the Loch Ness Monster... constantly laugjing .... Heres a pic from the book... and heres the pair of socks he just sent me
