Ultimately some of the highlights are super fun in isolation, the show has like, tons of cool scenes or cool concepts thrown in there

The issue is that it also have 30 insane concepts/bad decisions snuck in there as well

For me my enjoyment just keep unravelling as it goes along

My main gripe with season 1 and 2 is that Beastars is just « exactly Japanese society but with furries that eat each other »

Honestly my opinion of Beastars (including S1 and 2) is that it is a GREAT Tumblr piece of media

In the sense that the best value you can extract from it is a really poignant dissertation on Tumblr about 3 panels taken out of context

(If you read one chapter further the analysis falls apart)

Right, flagship shows or movies like that can be good to expand the fandom and hope it thrives
