Earlier today at the Foreign Affairs Committee, I questioned Sir Olly Robbins at length about the vetting process for Peter Mandelson.
I can understand why he decided not to tell the PM the full story but also why the PM judges that he should have been told.
Today is the last day to register to vote for the Wandsworth Council elections.

Wishing you a wonderful day to everyone celebrating.
working with Our Streets Now, Plan Uk, Citizens UK, Greg Clark as well as many others, we finally made misogyny part of our hate crime laws today.

We’re raising the alarm about the growing threat of foreign disinformation, not just abroad, but here in the UK.
The reality is stark: hostile activity, especially from Russia, now resembles that of a state at war. We need to respond with urgency and clarity. Complacency isn’t an option ⬇️

🗳️ It's time to vote for your next Youth Mayor of Wandsworth!
If you are aged 10 to 19 (or up to 25 with SEND), head to a local youth club or library this week to cast your vote.
What do you think about raising the age of social media access from 13 to 16?
Take the consultation now - it doesn’t take long and there is one for young people (10-21) one for parents/carers and one for everyone.
www.gov.uk/government/c...
Good to see that the Government is doing a quick six week trial of banning, restricting to one hour, and night curfew for under 16s social media alongside the consultation.
But clear to me that only raising the age altogether will stop the harm.
