Yeah the hint of yellow on the lighted areas and a touch of reddish brown in the shadow really makes the skin pop.

I cannot emphasize how good this advice is. I dont do traditional art, but I do paint miniatures and the advice is the same. Trying new things not only helps you grow as an artist, but it also makes doing art fun and appealing.

Oh this was definitely me growing up. Part of it was I was slacking, but a major part of it was because of my ADHD. I am proud to say now that I am an engineer and I just got my professional engineering cert. For all those who are still in school and are struggling, you can do amazing things.
