How cool is this new work from the Bienkowski lab?
CA1 of mouse hippocampus has 4 layers of specialized cell types. "This...changes our understanding of how information is processed...and could explain why certain cells are more vulnerable in diseases like Alzheimer’s and epilepsy."

⭐️The ability of our tau cut points to distinguish cognitively impaired vs unimpaired people varied by ethnoracial group.
