A group of 16 people pose together outdoors in front of a fenced area with a football club sign in the background. They are smiling and holding signs representing various organizations, including “Healthy Ireland,” “Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI),” “Sláintecare Healthy Communities,” and “Dublin City Council.” Several individuals are also holding booklets titled “Healthy Ireland and Your Dublin City Report.” A red hydration station is visible behind the group, suggesting a health or community initiative event.
A novel drinking water intervention led by RCSI has resulted in the dispensing of over 900 litres of water and a 90% reduction in single-use waste.
The initiative also saw improved hydration-related knowledge of 16% in children and 18% in their parents.
