The EU is beefing up its subsea security.
Today, we are taking steps to sanction saboteurs, deter adversaries and mobilise our military and civil capacities when needed.
This includes boosting funding to safeguard critical infrastructure.
A question many Europeans are asking themselves.

The FCC is looking to reallocate more C-band spectrum, but the question is whether it will go to LEO broadband or terrestrial wireless providers, or a mix of everyone
R&D is good spend if you look at rates of return, spillovers, and the qualitative aspects of developing and maintaining a workforce and skills base. A sustained and reliable track record of S&T funding is key to the delivery of a robust science sector.
Greater resources need to be allocated towards constructing an initial and adequate defence space capability, beginning at the R&D phase; this includes following through on existing strategies and programs to the end.
Pace of growth in tech is a priority in this next UK defence space phase.
Great announcement about Oberon today.
R&D is at the beginning for the UK to grow sovereign space capabilities and it’s important to celebrate and recognise R&D as a piece fitting into the larger space power puzzle.
