@novapbs.bsky.social's Return to the Moon is helping some with my #ArtemisII withdrawal. Thank you and impressive work on putting this together so quickly!

This is the way. (I could swear I've seen flights from Boston to either a midwest or some other east coast destination that involve a layover in Honolulu. Should have screenshot at the time!)

Probably uncharitable to suggest someone push the administrator off the deck, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

I cannot wear a polo shirt to this day*, but if you told me I could go to the moon only if I had to wear a blue one again, I'd do it.

*it was a good early work experience, but the uniform was 👎🏻

The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project: Success Achieved for First Rendezvous and Docking of Two Nation’s Spacecraft in Space - NASA Celebrating its 45th anniversary this month, NASA’s Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) was the first time that spacecraft from two different countries, the U.S.

Okay, but our dude the narrator is incorrect about Apollo 17 being the last water landing. Unless there's something later I'm missing, he skipped all the Skylab Apollo capsules plus the capsule from Apollo-Soyuz in July '75.

Just Googled what the top speed of the USS John Murtha is.

Realizing I don't know how long it takes such a vessel to reach its top speed but letting that go.

Some of the questions are okay, but the Artemis crew having to take showboating questions from politicians on their last evening in space = 👎🏻. Would have had better questions from 12 yos. #artemisii

The blackout period in the descent tomorrow is going to be absolutely excruciating.

Yes!! You just have to do it gradually and accept that while they may never love it, they can tolerate it pretty well to get a taste of the yummy cat toothpaste. We brush daily and it only takes a couple minutes.

At one point today one of the crew joked about asking them for the distances in km and parsecs, but the km part shouldn't have been a joke!

Tell me you're a 90s girl without telling me you're a 90s girl! (I mean, not 100% sure, but it's a guess I'd bet on.)

Can't believe I got roped into a ping pong tournament tonight and even had fun.

Suspect more fun than if I'd watched a movie about it instead.
