Connor, your stuff is amazing! I’m probably not needing anything this year but if you don’t mind I’m going to add you to a document I have and will email you on the new year.

Know any musicians who want to work on a retro inspired tactical rpg? I’d be keen to hear from them and even more keen to hear their work. #indiegamedev

I’ll be honest, I completely forgot the PS5 Pro existed.

Yeah I can see both Sony and MS launching over $1000 here next gen. Still, much cheaper than a 5080.

I did some upgrades recently and the one part I didn’t upgrade is the one part making me consider consoles next gen: the GPU

But does it have motion controls?

My wife’s journey from quick sketch to what she’s calling “first pass” for a tree asset for our game. So happy with this! #indiegamedev #pixelart

I checked in over at the other app for the first time in well over a year, and man, it’s a ghost town regarding people I used to follow.

GettingDicey - Twitch Getting Dicey is an actual play Dungeons and Dragons podcast recorded in Wellington, New Zealand.

I haven’t used Bluesky at all for promoting our DnD stream. But we’re very early into Rime of the Frostmaiden, it’s going to be a chill fishing episode, and we go live in 2.5 hours from now. Come join us over at twitch.tv/GettingDicey #kiwirpg #actualplay

Added some basic bestiary functionality. Here I show undiscovered monsters, close the bestiary, and use a debug press to unlock the goblin. #kiwigamedev #indiegamedev

Ahhh I remember the “it’s too hard to list what everyone did” excuse.

A simple but much needed visual for the pre-battle stats screen: an indicator of how much damage you might take. It’s there in number form, but a quick to glimpse visual is never a bad thing #gamedev #indiegamedev

Just learned that Wellingtaru is on tonight. Too short a notice for this long-covid guy, but will definitely join in next month. Very keen to get back to socialising.

I still intend on picking myself up a copy of this. It looks amazing dude. You should be immensely proud.

Oh mate. So true. I’m feeling the stress of the world’s hatred so much more these days.

Wellington gamedev folks. Are there regular catchups these days? I’d love to get back into socialising with like-minded people again.

When someone says "I've trained the LLM to think like me" all I hear is "this horoscope is so accurate!"

Isn't it about time Nolan North got another big gig?

You and me both. I'm finding a lot of things I see on social media starting to affect my happiness and the only good direction is to reduce consumption right down.

The lack of extras is one of those things you don't notice until you go back and watch early 2000s (and earlier) films. Most modern films feel so empty.

Nothing fancy to show today, but work has begun on the camp where you prep for the next mission. #indiegamedev

Put up the 18th build for supporters of the project today. Really happy with how it’s feeling now. Time to start working on the camp for in between missions. #indiegamedev

Combat and not spilling packages gets much easier the more you progress and unlock new tools. I've gone back to the original after putting it down around 2 years ago, and LOVING the later game.
