In the UK the NHS is absolutely overwhelmed, but the government has tightened the eligibility criteria for free Covid vaccination to the point that only a small minority of the population is eligible. Offering free vaccination to everyone would be an easy win here

In a sane administration, the FBI Director doesn’t go on the morning news to prove he’s not a drunk, the Defense Secretary doesn’t quote Tarantino to prove he’s a man of God, and the President doesn’t take multiple cognitive exams to prove he’s not insane.

The government has an opportunity right now to choose courage over inertia. To choose the interests of animals over the convenience of institutions.
They do not need another study on how little we can give them.

Your vitamin D isn’t going to cure the persistent viral infection that’s in your platelets & bone marrow causing immune dysfunction & vascular damage with every SARS-CoV-2.

I am 19 years sober today. This is an important milestone for me, because I have now spent more of my adult life sober than a drinker.

um so who’s bringing sanctions against the u.s.? why isn’t the unsc calling an emergency meeting? why aren’t democrats doing a full court press for impeachment? this shit makes putin look moderate by comparison.
And especially their unwillingness or inability to remove him. There's no interpretation that doesn't conclude that the US is utterly broken.
'A whole civilisation will die tonight'
There is no single risk in the world that is currently more serious than Donald Trump.
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”
How fuckin’ explicit does Trump have to be? He is calling for a nuclear strike. — Seek his removal immediately!
He’s out of his motherfucking mind.
1. To forecast with rigour involves first understanding the events in the past that led to the present. As I have stated before, there is a direct line of causation from the political effects of the early Covid response to where we are now: the highest probability of nuclear weapon use since 1962.
I think it’s worth asking again — and seriously — what exactly do we have a 25th Amendment for if not for this?
I'm wearing a blue, purple, and pink swirl cap, green round frame glasses, and a lavender breatheteq kn95 mask. I am posing in front of a colorful swirl backdrop.

Shameful.
1. As I have stated before on this platform, political decisions are often inextricably linked with biological risk - governmental policies can both mitigate or increase (or even create) biological risks. In that sense, one cannot assess biological risk in isolation of politics.
Bye bitch. 👋
I have been holding this in for too long and I must air my grievance!
Some people call this "making biscuits" and that is INCORRECT. You don't knead biscuits! You handle them as little as possible! You should never do this to biscuit dough!!
My family called this "kneading" and THAT is correct!

The NHS is already overwhelmed and is now facing serious medical supply issues. This is a very dangerous combination. Well aware I'm repeating myself here, but it's important to continue banging this drum: take active steps to stay healthy. This includes FFP2/3 masking

Cardiovascular disease in Long Covid can kill. Incredible to have to say this six years into the pandemic. Drawing attention only to some disease manifestations (e.g. "neuroimmune disorders") is detrimental to the patient community as a whole. Everyone deserves care.
A strategic masterclass: Iran’s oil income has doubled since Feb 28. We get the battlefield optics, they get the cash. This is exactly what happens when you improvise a war just to distract from the Epstein files. Truly, a “victory” worth paying for.
The seeming lack of a clear plan by the UK government to attempt to mitigate this baffles me. Food security intersects with biological risk, because when food prices increase, people on low incomes cannot afford nutritious food. Malnourishment weakens the immune system.
