Spotted @ripta.com’s new RIde paratransit vehicle in Providence! It’s a Frontrunner van made by a company called Model 1 Commercial Vehicles 🚐
Over the last several months, advocates from the SAVE RIPTA campaign have been at the State House week after week, organizing, testifying, and pushing for legislation to protect and strengthen our public transit system! 🚍
This weekend, I had the joy of celebrating Khmer New Year with our Cambodian community! 🎉
I’m grateful to the Cambodian Society of Rhode Island for hosting this beautiful tradition and bringing our community together for the last 44 years.
An internal poll released by the campaign of state Rep. @davidmoralespvd.bsky.social says he's leading Mayor Brett Smiley by double digits six months out from this year's Providence mayoral Democratic primary. @wpri12.bsky.social

Congressman @rokhanna.bsky.social, a California Democrat, is endorsing state Rep. @davidmoralespvd.bsky.social in the Providence mayoral race
Congressman Ro Khanna is a progressive champion who always puts working families first.
I’m honored to have his endorsement as we build a campaign to deliver a Providence that all our neighbors can afford!
This Trans Day of Visibility, we celebrated the strength, joy, and resilience of our trans community 🏳️⚧️🫶🏾
We owe it to our Trans neighbors to celebrate not just today, but to show up every day! Visibility is not enough without safety and safety is not enough without justice.
Today is the end of quarter deadline for Providence, RI's progressive mayoral candidate's fundraising campaign. If you want to support an anti-ICE, pro-rent-control politician, I encourage you to give to David! secure.actblue.com/donate/david...
Other important David facts below...
Providence mayoral candidate @davidmoralespvd.bsky.social is already fighting for rent stabilization in Providence. (The primaries are 9/8/26 btw). Sign this petition and put pressure on city council!

In Providence, our annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is built on community joy, the same type of community joy our grassroots campaign is building ✨☘️
Yesterday, the Mayor unveiled an incomplete “housing package” that fails to address the root causes of our housing crisis.
While short-term relief programs can be helpful, they’re temporary, means-tested, and do nothing to protect our neighbors from massive rent hikes. We need rent stabilization!
With Rhode Island being home to some of the HIGHEST utility rates, Rep. Megan Cotter & I have a plan to address this crisis! 💡
By capping RI Energy’s annual profit margin at 4% & limiting their returns from infrastructure upgrades, we can stop the price-gouging that’s hurting many of our neighbors.
Each day, our grassroots movement for an affordable and joyful Providence continues to grow. Thank you to all our neighbors who joined our recent Town Hall at ‘The Parlour’ ✨
And much love to Paper Moon Jazz Band for filling the room with some lovely tunes 🎶
Also, Providence, can I count on you to vote for @davidmoralespvd.bsky.social for mayor on Tuesday, September 8?
The 2026 Lint Ball presented by Wooly Fair ✨
A night of creative art, live music, dancing, and community. In other words, a night celebrating our creative capitol with friends 🫶🏾
Potholes are a serious problem in Providence and we need the resources to fix them! Our plan starts with reforming bad contracts that are shortchanging our city.
With most RIPTA services back on schedule, our neighbors shouldn’t be forced to wait out on the street.
So the last two days, we’ve been carving out some small paths to improve accessibility! 🚍🚏
Earlier today, East Providence received much-needed assistance from the RI National Guard to support their snow removal operations.
Our office is now urging Governor McKee to provide the same support to our Providence community.
It’s Monday, February 23rd and we are expecting heavy winds and snowfall throughout the day. This morning over 35,000 households are without power, so if you lose power, contact RI Energy at 855-743-1101 ⚠️
Stay safe neighbors and get ready to throw snowballs later! ❄️
Neighbors, with a ‘Blizzard Warning’ issued for 4pm and projections estimating 18 to 24 inches of snow, please take the time to grab essentials, from food to candles!
And if you see an unhoused neighbor, please contact the Matthewson Street Church so a volunteer can connect them with shelter 🫶🏾
We must carry on Reverend Jackson’s fight for justice. We must remind ourselves that we all deserve to be respected, protected, and never rejected.
No matter our race, religion, or class, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.
Through the Rainbow Coalition, Reverend Jackson made a long-lasting impact on progressivism—uniting Americans across race, religion, and class to champion equality in education, housing, and labor, while demanding accountability from corporate elites.
Reverend Jesse Jackson was a transformative political and civil rights leader who dedicated his life to the fight against segregation and racism.
My heart is with Pawtucket.
Mi corazón está con Pawtucket.
Providence, will you be my Valentine? 🥹❤️
David Morales for Mayor of Providence!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I'm honored to have the support of the largest tenant rights organization in the state, Reclaim RI! Over the years, Reclaim has led the fight to unionize tenants, establish a public developer housing model, & cap rent increases. Together, we’re going to deliver a #ProvidenceForAll!
Yesterday, we approved a loan of $18 million to help “Centurion” purchase Roger Williams and Fatima Hospital.
While this was an important investment to prevent two important hospitals from closing, it is now Centurion’s responsibility to guarantee safe staffing and quality care for our neighbors!
A powerful halftime show filled with Latin joy and representation, thank you Benito 💙
