if ur talking about the new compression, Bluesky all of a sudden converts all images to webp now... it uses the VP8 video compression which is what causes those rly ugly blur artifacts. It's pretty much the worst possible compression for pixel art lmao

They hate us low res artists lmao. I uploaded a pixel piece and it was apparently too low-res so Bluesky took it upon itself to use this new interpolation algorithm which completely melts every pixel into each other and it made it look like some kind of horrific ai slop
