My XIV starting city was Gridania, so when the game threw the whole "....and all Duskwights are criminals!" at me I said "Neat. I'll be ignoring that for the rest of forever."

If you want to use "pretty" try just "Pretty!" Or "Pretty glam/outfit/look!" Which puts the focus back on the recipient
