Yep! There are 40+ "official" Hunger AUs so it was bound to happen sooner or later. A Jack & The Bean Stalk flavored AU developed to the point it needed to be it's own thing. The Red character was easy enough to tweak. Rand's been harder.

Tough decision, might have chosen a couple different if I did it today 😅. Obviously story is the biggest factor in how much a game means to me. I'll put up with pretty clunky mechanics for a good storyline. Great music also helps.

Thinking more specifically, trickiest part's been a scene towards the beginning of Book 2, a confrontation that pulls together threads from B1 & lays the path for B2. I've written it twice, months apart, 1 starting from what comes before & leading into the scene & the 2nd focused on the latter half
