The piece is a custom stretched canvas on a regular seven-sided framing (? the wood that shapes the canvas); 3.5ft across. It's been a beast to hold onto through life turmoil & multiple cross country moves, but it's a touchstone piece from my childhood (& Dad's college days). Still worth it.

Good to know! And also, given the nerdery level & "do it absolutely right the first time" of the people involved, I wouldn't be surprised. But now I'm wishing I had the story of the undoubtedly sleepless nights of rambling & research before starting this endeavor.
