I have successfully survived 44 revolutions around Sol today. This last one had some seriously dicey moments. Hoping the next revolution brings lots of repairs.

*sympathy zen hugs* From an Internet stranger.

That sounds incredibly overwhelming and rough for you & your family. I hope you've found some strategies/tools since. *zen tea*

Ooo! Was just reminded of one more!
2025: @plaatsch.bsky.social "Lioness Heart"

Shifter lesbian romance. Stands alone decently, though part of an interconnected series (other series in same world-build with crossover characters).

Amusing punchline:
With more accessibility and inclusion, you too could have signing skeletons instead of singing skeletons! ๐Ÿฅ

Arguments from the couch:
Man, reanimated skeletons need to use sign language! They don't have a voice box, so sign language is clearly the most logical choice. So says 5 year old me!

If you just made your magical world with necromancy more accessible & inclusive, you could have signing skeletons!

Alas, I am short on money. But if boob donation were possible, I've got I-cups that Need To Go, and would probably outfit several people. Sigh.

I have no influence! But my wild take is that campaigns should include a brief Schoolhouse Rock style lesson on what the position they are running for is & does. Actual brownie points if you tell us how you are going to use the specific powers/influence of that position to make specific changes.

If you haven't encountered it yet, may I recommend:
"American Hippo" by Sarah Gailey

Book, compilation of novellas & short stories, set in an alt-history America where hippos are used as wild west cattle and horse equivalent. No, she does not hold any punches with hippo violence.
It's amazing.

Oof! From someone in the Pacific North-wet, that is Too Much!

I hope it passes through swiftly and that your home remains safe and undamaged. ๐Ÿซ‚

I have no Instagram and no interest in an account... But... Etymology of reggaeton slang?!
*eyes groaning mental plate o' things*
That sounds lovely... *she says, wistfully*

I'm just amusedly boggled at trying to tie a regional award in the UK to... US electoral college issues... Which are rather larger than just a geography thing.

The topic on hand is *UK* regional museums.

You have wandered across an ocean and into an entirely unrelated field. How adventurous of you.

My family was abusive enough without including tape recorders at the dinner table... *shudders*

Rejections are still proof that you're trying and putting in work!
(But I also understand the hurt in rejection.) ๐Ÿซ‚

Thank you for digging into this. My capacity for checking things is nerfed due to Too Much On Plate.

Very creeped out by the bot response with advertising website in there... That does not give me warm fuzzies. ๐Ÿง

*looks anyway* And... 20% off the second book in the series... okay, FINE. Guess I'm just going to have to work at getting life under control enough to read all these glorious books, then. HMPH!

The piece is a custom stretched canvas on a regular seven-sided framing (? the wood that shapes the canvas); 3.5ft across. It's been a beast to hold onto through life turmoil & multiple cross country moves, but it's a touchstone piece from my childhood (& Dad's college days). Still worth it.

Good to know! And also, given the nerdery level & "do it absolutely right the first time" of the people involved, I wouldn't be surprised. But now I'm wishing I had the story of the undoubtedly sleepless nights of rambling & research before starting this endeavor.
