I want Coyle and Larson to succeed. From a distance the process looked lazy, rushed, and uninspired but I was really hoping this article would provide some insight showing these appearances were deceiving. Instead, the article only confirmed these appearances. I feel like I'm going fucking crazy.

HOLY SHIT. THEY ONLY STARTED TALKING ABOUT THIS SHIT A MONTH AGO!!! WHAT ARE WE DOING???
When Motzko and Coyle said this was a mutual decision I had optimism there was larger plan in place. But the article says:
"After talking last Monday and Tuesday following the Gophers’ season finale, Coyle and Motzko came to the same conclusion: It was time for a fresh face to lead the program."
"...on Friday and Sunday, to be honest with you, I’m watching college basketball games, but I’m on my phone during the games researching coaches, sending text messages back to the staff."
AGAIN, THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE IS NOT YOUR PRIMARY JOB. WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE EVEN DOING.
He interviewed the hockey coach candidates, but not in person on the phone or on Zoom, in between basketball games. I could not dream up a more fitting microcosm of his commitment to the hockey programs if you gave me a week. Amazing.
THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE IS NOT YOUR PRIMARY JOB.
When anyone tries to argue Coyle cares about hockey, I'll come back to this paragraph:
“I was able to talk to people all day Thursday because the tournament games weren’t until Friday. On the tournament games on Friday, I was able to have conversations between games."
Amazing.
While I hate Vegas, I put that aside and pulled for Team USA even though Eichel is a human piece of shit. But I couldn't overcome my hatred for the Yankees and cheer for Judge in the WBC. So all of this is probably my fault but I ain't apologizing for shit. Fuck the Yankees.
If you haven't been following the WBC, apparently nobody on Team USA bothered to lookup the tiebreaker rules and now they are facing potential elimination.
I've seen hockey moms analyze every tiebreaker scenario for an 8u tournament in July like they are Claire Danes in Homeland.
Fire everyone.
I'm avoiding thinking about it. It's healthier to push the feelings down and never deal with them.
Sweden supported the Nazis during WW2.

Cheering so hard for Czechia vs. Canada right now I might drive over to New Prague and get some kolackys.
I tried to think of another famous Latvian and can't. Maybe Balki from Perfect Strangers? I can't remember.
Letting Kristaps Porzingis ref this USA vs. Latvia hockey game was a mistake.
(Ranking MN counties is a genius concept btw and I can't wait to yell at you about each one.)
I went to a set-up bar in Welch, MN and got in a fight with the bartender because I ordered a vodka soda and he said sorry he can't do that and I looked around and everyone had cocktails and I thought he was just discriminating against me because I am not from there. I have a problem with authority!
@randballsstu.bsky.social @jonmarthaler.com @broxey.bsky.social Does Quinn Hughes look like Bob Dylan, and if so, is that some sort of sign?
at this point maybe just grab the EBUG goalie and go on a 2-week road trip drunken bender across the Dakotas or something, just really lean into the slumpbuster.

Last night he had the puck on his forehand on the half wall and he just fired it to no one in the slot. Nobody. I know he knows better than that. I know he does. But he must be saying fuck it, I've tried making the right play and it's not working so what if I do the opposite? He's Costanza'ing it.
When the puck is in the offensive zone, does does his brain say to itself, "I know you want to go over *here*, but obviously that isn't working for us. Instead how about we try standing over *here*?" And then, when that doesn't work, what does his brain tell itself to do? It must be exhausting.
He's a defensive forward and faceoff specialist. I get it. But I'm now hypnotized watching him in the neutral zone and offensive zone. I can't imagine what his mind must be thinking in these situations. Does he just turn off every instinct he's developed over 20+ years of playing hockey?

During this play I was sitting next to my 17-year old Seahawks fan son. He mocked me loud enough and long enough that it made the dog upset. If I had enough things to justify a will he would not be in it.

Refs finally holding cheating ass goalies accountable.
I will testify that I saw Phil Cuzzi at the illegal gambling ring.
I think maybe you could just have a bar back then? The permitting was pretty fast and loose. It was the wild west.
