NOAA needs to get some usability experts to review their statement format.
The NOAA statements are also very easy to misinterpret. For example if you had a link to the statement from NOAA HONOLULU HI, it was very easy to read the "THE TSUNAMI THREAT FROM THIS EARTHQUAKE HAS NOW PASSED" text and assume the threat has gone everywhere.
`overflow:clip` and `clip-path` different. `overflow:clip` is more similar to `overflow:hidden` but never allows scrolling, and doesn’t create a stacking context; `clip-path` does.
Did you consider clip-path instead of mask? It’s more efficient to render.
We’ve made some efforts recently to make the build faster. Shame we don’t see a decrease in the last week or so.
z-index is never unbeatable; it’s contained within its enclosing stacking context, so some other stacking context can get on top.
