Two YouTube thumbnails side by side; both show the inside of a police car, with an upside-down dog; in one the dog is brown. In the other, green.

A screenshot of boingboing.net, showing an article entitled "Cory Doctorow explains how to rescue the internet from enshittification on The Daily Show". There is a subscription banner on top of the article, and it's surrounded by intrusive ads.

WebKit Bugzilla

I'd be happy to get WebKit folks to look at this if you're willing to share you app and the content. You can do so by using Feedback Assistant to file an issue, or bugs.webkit.org for things that are OK to be public.

The NOAA statements are also very easy to misinterpret. For example if you had a link to the statement from NOAA HONOLULU HI, it was very easy to read the "THE TSUNAMI THREAT FROM THIS EARTHQUAKE HAS NOW PASSED" text and assume the threat has gone everywhere.

`overflow:clip` and `clip-path` different. `overflow:clip` is more similar to `overflow:hidden` but never allows scrolling, and doesn’t create a stacking context; `clip-path` does.

Did you consider clip-path instead of mask? It’s more efficient to render.

We’ve made some efforts recently to make the build faster. Shame we don’t see a decrease in the last week or so.

z-index is never unbeatable; it’s contained within its enclosing stacking context, so some other stacking context can get on top.

Make creative borders with background-clip border-area How’d you like to use CSS to easily create a border from an image or gradient?

It was fun to implement "background-clip: border-area" in WebKit. I hope you do cool things with it! webkit.org/blog/16214/b...
