There's no wrong time to start art. You can start it when you're 40, like I did a year ago! You can start it young, you can start it anytime. There is not really 'talent' there's just time and dedication. I've already gotten better than I ever thought I could just by sticking with it.

We love the Shadowrun setting but the rules are complex and FATE's rules are pretty simple and narrative focused, so I decided to make my own setting with Shadowrun as the core background (so dragons, elves, trolls, but also anthros). We'll be doing it as a one shot when I'm in person with them ->

I'm finally midway into Horizon and it's really exciting hearing your voice work as Rean, you really sell the character's growth and it's fun seeing him as an adult with earned confidence after his coming of age journeys.

Yeah I think sketching too crisp just messes you up, blurry/sloppy brushes let you capture the essence without getting bogged down.

Because they don't critically engage with the work at all, it just is pretty/sexy/sounds nice/whatever so they only look at it from the most surface level. 'Oh this guy sounds badass singing that's my type of dude? What's he singing about? Probably irrelevant'.
