I decided to dive into astro, new frameworks and tailwind CSS for my professional site, with some guidance from the new IDE from Google (antigravity). In just a few hours, I replaced the old site with a much more accessible, modern and FAST site.

A Todoist dashboard widget with a dark theme showing productivity statistics: Karma at 557, 10 out of 5 tasks completed today, and 36 all-time completed tasks. It displays 50 open tasks categorized by priority, 5 active projects (Inbox, Content, Dev, Home Lab, WebDev), and top labels with task counts, including homelab (9) and dynacat (8).

After being so hyped about getting an optiplex, the old gaming rig that was my server and storage for years decided to call it quits. First the Windows 10 SSD, then the board itself refused to not freeze up under any other operating system.

It was an old machine but still. Was disheartening!

I've been genuinely so tired lately, but also extremely energized and hyper focused on building out self hosted solutions on my Linux server. Currently building my own home page / hub on dynacat (a fork of glance).

I need more hardware.

Who has old computers they don't use? 🤣
