We should measure ambient temperature in Fahrenheit when it’s hot out and Celsius when it’s cold out. Celsius does not have enough numbers to describe the feeling of being hot, but has too many numbers to describe the feeling of being cold

I've been doing pretty well lately. Funny how getting a couple back to back triggers really reminds me that I do still have some PTSD living in my brain.

Between world events and more personal stuff, my mental health is in real rough shape. I'm trying to use that as motivation to take care of myself better, but it would be super cool if things could be a little less in my direction.

It's just "talk" I'm told, which I've been told before. "It's how the president makes his deals." But I've never heard anyone talk about other human beings this way, and I'm not certain I can look my son in the eyes if we all agree to stomach it one more time. As I watch people who do not live in this country get real smug about how Americans have not "risen up" or whatever, I feel compelled to point out:

We have and we are. People have been killed. Maimed. This is a thing that's happened. And yet millions still protest and take direct action.

Young kids are often expected to use the urinals and it always made me very uncomfortable. I still don't really feel comfortable using urinals. It makes me extremely anxious.

I have nothing to say that matches the gravity of the situation. I just want peace and safety for everyone targeted by the insane whims of a madman.
