The Lion Twins, Artisa and Atroxia, accompanied their cousin to the mysterious coordinates emailed to her phone. It took some time arranging for travel on such short notice, and by the time they got there, the polar nights had begun. Modern day winter clothing is not a subject I am very familiar with, so this took me a little longer than expected. One alternate title I name this piece is Lions in Winter. Those of you who knew me back when I was an Artix Entertainment player would get why I used this particular title.

Vespulo ordered the underling to keep watch on the superheroes. I painted the camo patterns by hand with a wooly brush. They made passable patterns for a fictional army. The speech bubble's contents were inspired by Tang Wen Xi's painterly sketches. My original sketch was to have the underling standing upright with binoculars instead of low crawling. I rethought this when I remembered that actual military operatives would rather NOT be seen when on active duty.

Magaret Jocasta and Lucretia would give her a run for her money as far as rumps go if they had magic to wield.
Purpure doesn't actually have much of a rump, even if the forcefield looks like it.
Purpure deflecting a bolter round that explodes just as it flies off into the distance, while Sister Cecilia looks on in surprise.
It's not every day you see Purpure, or anyone really, able to deflect a bolter round from an Adepta Sororitas grade weapon.

A long time ago, Joachim's many-great-grandmothers fled turmoil in the old country after the collapse of the Tang, and ended up in the Northwest region of the New World. They would be familiar with tribal groups like the Salish, Chinook, and Haida. I wish to develop this setting more as it shapes a lot of the social changes that make my New Weibermacht setting differ from our real world.
