I went to see it at @theatrclwyd.bsky.social this afternoon and loved it. The three actors bring a host of characters to life, in a story with humour and a lot of heart.β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ The central message of the importance of Drama and Art is just as relevant to adults as it is to the pupils at school.

It is wonderful to see #TheatrClwyd celebrating it's 50th year with a knockout production of #UnderMilkWood. Judie compared Dylan Thomas' use of language to Mervyn Peake, & she is right, with the talented cast bringing the beautiful words to vibrant life. Catch it in #Mold until April 4th. ❀️🎭🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We're currently booked to see Under Milk Wood on the first and last nights, and will try to fit at least another one in. We will definitely say hello. ❀️
The transformation of the Theatr building is fantastic, and it's not over yet.

I was fortunate enough to get my copy signed by the cast, but foolishly neglected to have it with me for you to sign on the last night.

After a number of false dawns I do hope that the Theatr will open again. The view from the bar, ( when the windows have been cleaned), is spectacular.

Message to our friends from our hoomom. If able plz consider donating to a group that provides food for the beloved pets of people struggling right now. Our mum grew up very poor & remembers how hard it was to feed the family & their pet. Share some kindness. Love you all 🩷

He was very good as Ray Say in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice at Clwyd in 2017, too.

And having The Trials of Cato, a band I first discovered through Theatr Clwyd, playing while the audience were coming in was just πŸ‘Œ.

I saw it on Monday night and loved it. β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘The refurbished Theatr Weston is put through it's paces, with the new trapdoor system being put to good use. Simon Holland Roberts is outstanding, and like every Welsh legend the story has beauty and tragedy. I'll be back to see it again. ❀️🎭🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

My wife & I have been going on & off since 1980, & much more regularly in the last 8 or 9 years. We decided to try as much different stuff as possible, & have seldom been disappointed. The redeveloped building is wonderful, & we're looking forward to the rest of it opening soon.

I liked that the Welsh Montagues had Mari Lwyd at the masked ball, and even had a theme in the music.

Have you seen the 440 Theatre version of R&J? Four actors perform the play in forty(ish) minutes, and it is hilarious.

A great performance of 'Romeo a Juliet' at @theatrclwyd.bsky.social last night. The @theatr-cymru.bsky.social production used the English of the Capulets and Welsh of the Montagues as another distinction between the two rival families. Fantastic, engaging and moving theatre.β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽπŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ
