That's always bothered me.

Hidari「檻の向こうの星々 — Stars Behind the Cage」 - Astralys 大阪駅北側、かつてうめきた2期と呼ばれた広大な再開発エリア。スカイビルのふもとに立てば、工事用のフェンス越しに大阪駅周辺のビル群が遠く浮かび上がっていた。ノースゲートビルディングの端正な窓明かり、並木道を彩るイルミネーション、そしてまだ何者にもなっていなかった更地の静けさ。 フェンスの菱形が夜景を幾何学的に切り取り、近くの照明に照らされた金網はオレンジ色に滲んで、まるで都市を覗き見る額縁のように画面を囲んでいる。見えているのに触れられない、すぐそこにあるのに隔てられている。そんな距離感が、この街がやがて別の姿に変わってしまうことへの予感と重なる。 現在、この場所はグラングリーン大阪として生まれ変わり、フェンスも更地も、ここから見えたあの夜景も、すべて過去のものになった。街は前に進む。でも、進む前の一瞬の横顔を、金網の隙間から覗いたこの一枚が静かに覚えている。
