Always. We have lots of deer here as well ( rabbits, otters, beavers… 😂) and they’re large & well fed. It’s also breeding season and they’re very active.

The eastern coyotes are very active. Saw 5 very large ones today. They walk from the forest to the still frozen lake.

I’m well. TY Chris! Hope you are too! It’s been a busy winter as our oldest daughter who was pregnant, first was on bedrest and in and out of hosp since 20Wks. Finally baby was born at 31 weeks. One month ago I became a grandmother! He’s still in hosp but doing beautifully. So is my daughter Eva.

It’s not even the end of it. We just had an other 20 cm in last 20 hours. It feels like January 80th

Been very busy with my daughter being pregnant and on bedrest from week 20. Baby Matteo was born at 31 weeks, my daughter Eva and baby are both doing very well. Baby breathing on his own.
A cutie and he’s already following our voices. He’ll remain in neonate unit until until mid to late April.

After years of trying to explain that vegan proteins are just proteins, I’ve been having a lot more success with plant based or plant proteins. It’s all still vegan.
When I mention plant proteins on my posts I feel it’s more inclusive and gets a more interest from non veg.

I agree with that and frankly protein worry could be a huge deterrent to some omnis
I’ve had a few vegan challenges at my work place ( I’m an operating room nurse) and proteins are what worries people the most. Along with falsehood about soy’s phytoestrogens.

Not sure why I’m being “schooled” here? Perhaps you can clarify for me why that is.

& after 16 years of active vegan advocacy, I do know what the meat industry is up to.
Vegan proteins are bean, tofu, quinoa….I frankly do not care.
Whatever it is as long as long as it’s not animal.

I was lucky enough to travel to Europe in august and found the food was delicious. I’ve been cooking w vegan proteins since 2007 only ( my 16 vegan anni last September)
6 years ago also had the best food in Edinburg.
