2/2 — I grind into the small cup that comes with it, which fits perfectly inside a standard portafilter basket for transferring to it. From there I just "fluff" with a distribution tool, tamp, and go!

We got the DF64V because @debbieohi.com prefers pourover and its very easy to adjust.

1/2 — I have not done the blind shaker thing yet — not entirely sure how it would improve my shots. I have the DF64V grinder (which I think is the same as yours?)

Been there! We have the same grinder – how many times have you fired it up without the cup in place to catch the grounds, and just watched it all pour out onto the counter 🤦‍♂️

It's been a big hit with both sides of the Ridpath-Ohi family too 👍

We used to hang out at a pub down on The Scores called "Chariots" (for obvious reasons). I tried to find it on Google Maps but it's been more than 30 years and it's no longer there.
