Really grateful for the support so far, still working to close the gap to get him to the program.
Appreciate any shares. www.gofundme.com/f/help-bug-a...

My child/artist was recently awarded a Silver Key in the Scholastic Art Awards and invited to a selective pre-college art program this summer.
If you’re able to support or share, it would mean a lot. I certainly can't afford this fancy stuff.

Today, it’s not your vote that determines whether the government brutalizes you or sends officers to your door. It’s your neighbors’ vote.
If you’re ok with this happening to Minnesotans, don’t get comfortable. You won’t be exempt for long.
In the end, a lawless administration comes for everyone.
Arnoldo Bazan, a 16-year-old U.S. citizen, was put in a chokehold by ICE agents.
Agents took his phone, which he tracked to a used electronics vending machine near an ICE detention center.
Yes: ICE is stealing and selling people’s things after brutalizing them. There are no words.
omg
I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.
And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”
Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.
Standing offer: I'll give feedback (after Feb 15 only) on up to 25 pages to anyone who donates any amount to an org/fundraiser/wishlist in the link. Yes, immigration agents not only took Arnoldo's phone, the 10th grader had to use Find My Phone to locate it — in a vending machine for used electronics, close to an ICE detention center.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
The people at Kid Fucker Island aren't victims, I want their fucking names and faces.
You know a thing that is very bad about this? This is the anti-trans playbook being played against women. Start with 'has the x movement failed the people it's supposed to help', then infantilize them, then make the case they can't be responsible for their own choices, then take their rights away
A screenshot of a news article header featuring circular portraits of three authors: Azeen Ghorayshi, Amy Harmon, and Reed Abelson. The dateline is Dec. 18, 2025. The opening paragraph reads: "The federal government on Thursday acted to put an end to gender-related care for minors across the nation, threatening to pull federal funding from any hospital that offered such treatment."
A paragraph of text from a news article discussing medical interventions for minors. The text reads: "Questions over the evidence to support medical interventions for minors have been central to debate worldwide as demand for the treatments has increased. An influential report released in Britain last year found that the scientific evidence on the benefits and risks of the treatment was 'remarkably weak,' and concluded by recommending that puberty blockers be restricted to research trials only. Several European countries, and most recently New Zealand, have imposed restrictions."
One reason the NYT has burned its credibility with trans people is that they still cite the discredited Cass report in reporting on trans healthcare. Never the German, Utah, or other systematic reviews supporting care. They also never provide the political context behind restrictions in care.

According to a new study, members of Congressional leadership perform 47% better in stock market trades than their rank-and-file peers, thanks to access to nonpublic information.
Today would be a great day to ban ALL elected officials from trading stock, don't you think?
