Momentum is building for the Commonwealth Games.
In Glasgow West, Scotstoun Stadium has its new running track in readiness for the athletics & several local groups have received Glasgow 2026 Festival Funding for community events.

🏭 Thanks to Labour’s industrial strategy, over £700 million has been secured for UK manufacturing, including a major new gigafactory and 4,200 jobs.

In a recent debate on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome & Craniocervical Instability I spoke about my constituent Jo & the fact that in Scotland patients can wait up to 20 years for diagnosis.
I sincerely hope a better treatment pathway can be found for people with these conditions.

In January 15-year-old Jordan Kerr from Drumchapel heroically saved a child’s life at Drumchapel Train Station.

The UK Labour Govt has launched a Youth Guarantee for 18 to 24 year olds, offering a chance for learning or earning.
This New Deal for young people will support business to hire young people & help create new opportunities for people in Glasgow West.
I was pleased to vote recently to remove the two-child benefit cap.
This will lift up to 2,290 children in Glasgow West out of poverty.

Christian Churches are well-placed to collaborate with other faith communities to help rebuild trust & deliver peace & reconciliation in Gaza.
I welcome the information provided by the Church Commissioner on the ongoing work of the Church to be peace leaders across the region.
Constituents continue to raise concerns about Royal Mail delivery delays.
In less than two months local residents will be awaiting their Scottish Parliament polling cards & postal votes.
Royal Mail must ensure they are delivered on time so that voters aren’t disenfranchised.
