This! #DNDi’s Hepatitis C work in Malaysia is a great example of what open science can do in real life: affordable, effective treatment, developed through collaboration and tested where it’s most needed. Ravidasvir + sofosbuvir is proof that drug development doesn’t have to follow the status quo.
Klang now has 5 #Dengue hotspots—21 across Malaysia. With climate change, outbreaks are rising. The #DengueAlliance is developing affordable therapeutics to protect pregnant women, kids & high-risk groups—uniting global partners to stop severe dengue.
The most neglected, vulnerable, and marginalized communities are bearing and will continue to bear the brunt of these decisions’
We co-hosted a side event at the Prince Mahidol Award Conference. The panel discussion on South-South collaboration against #NTDs was quite engaging.
