Darn, I can't view this post in SeaMonkey, which is based on the Mozilla Suite (which was in turn based on Netscape)

They already hide videos from your subscriptions feed, sometimes I'd think a creator I follow retired only to realize that their new stuff no longer appears in my subscriptions feed despite being subbed.
Ended up installing FreeTube and importing my subscriptions to avoid this
We’re working together to bring Raymond Moriyama’s architectural masterpiece, the Ontario Science Centre we loved, back to life to be enjoyed as a cultural institution for the next generation of Ontarians. We’ll have an announcement soon about community meetings in April.
Reopening the visionary centre created by Raymond Moriyama, reimagined and renewed for continued public enjoyment is a priority for Save OSC.
Stay tuned for a future announcement about community meetings in April.
.. a new organization moves in, or alternative funding (such as sponsorships for various exhibits and offerings) is secured.
.. break the lease if Ontario refuses to prove that the site is being properly maintained.
While the city has stated that they are not in a financial position to run a science museum themselves, this would at least allow them to ensure the building itself is protected, until ..
I truly hope that a new organization can take over the don mills site and continue offering what the OSC once did.
I believe I've mentioned this idea before, but with Toronto now officially requesting confirmation that the building is being kept in good repair, this could give them leverage to ..
With Switch 1 support being a thing, I wonder if we'll see any homebrew games and applications supporting it.
Something like the Mario VB tech demo recreation being ported to the Switch, or a homebrew VB emulator being released allowing homebrew games to be played would be awesome
They fixed that pretty quick, just goes to the support homepage now
Back in 2016 there was a Value Village (aka Savers) that had a dedicated Boxed PC software section, and a dedicated Jewel Case PC software section above that. 90% of my collection came from that one store, went back semi-recently and it was just another thrift store. Miss those times
I just got a KVM switch so I can swap my USB Mouse, USB Model M, and CRT monitor from my modern PC to my Win98 machine for convenience.
I am just realizing now I can use these weird mice on my modern PC, the KVM switch has PS/2 inputs!
@chuggaaconroy.bsky.social Any chance we might see some online features in your SoulSilver Let's Play?
Since your last DS Pokemon series, going online via Wiimmfi now works by just changing the DS's DNS settings.. though you still need a WEP/Open connection. Never got to play DS online as a kid lol
MM35.4 passed tonight at City Council!
Thank you to everyone who wrote in support of the motion, and signed the letter.
With your continued support in 2026, we will succeed in reimagining, renewing, and reopening!
Read the motion here:

Done! If this passes and Ontario doesn't budge on even saying if they'll keep it in a state of good repair, I wonder if this could give Toronto the leeway to simply break the lease and ensure the site is maintained without provincial support. iirc the lease says Ontario must keep it in good repair
We need your support for the Dec 16th city council meeting, please write-in!

The timing on this is amazing
If you ever visit Canada, I highly recommend checking out Woodbine Mall. It's a dead mall with an indoor amusement park, a ton of "generic" stores replacing closed ones, dated/incorrect signage, dying animatronics, whole place is weird
Photos/videos I took in 2022

Man, I'd love if this were an actual theme I could install on XFCE
Thanks for the amazing series! This LP actually got me into the series, went to a game convention a few days ago and picked up Chain of Memories & KH2
@chuggaaconroy.bsky.social I've been watching your KH series as I play through the game for the first time (currently on episode 40), and I suddenly got the Defender shield through normal, non-grinding gameplay!
I wasn't sure if I'd like KH but thanks to you I'm now a new fan of the series. Thanks!
Only a month away, so we should definitely hear something in the coming weeks!
Looks like something you'd see in The Sims 2 as a mod
Heck yeah!
Darn, if this is true the PS5 might be my last non-Nintendo console.. and as someone who loves game collecting, it hurts to see the hobby becoming harder and harder..
Hopefully the homebrew scene ends up creating workarounds at some point down the line
Same, in the meantime I've been messing around with Kirby Air Ride Deluxe. Air Ride Modoki is also a fun thing to try
@saveosc.bsky.social Attending the CNE, likely old news but passing by Ontario Place and they had a photo of an actual, full size Science Centre designed by Raymond Moriyama, not anywhere near Toronto though.
Looks like they had issues with graffiti so they added cameras, didn't stop everyone tho
@vinny.vinesauce.com Thoughts on the pizza they serve at Halloween Horror Nights' FNAF themed restaurant?
I work with barcodes a lot since I work at a shipping company, and it's interesting to see how much these PC peripherals simply haven't changed.
I unboxed a new one for work semi-recently, and they're still programmed using barcodes on a sheet of paper, and it still just sends keystrokes
Reminds me a bit of Bluefish Editor, which I use all the time on Linux (with the Chicago95 theme too)
Only a handful on OMNIMAX theatres are left worldwide, even less that are capable of projecting 70mm OMNIMAX film.
Right now it's still possible to move the OSC back or have a new science centre organization use the old building, but if it's demolished, Ontario will never have an OMNIMAX again
