Across all 3 series, some things are too slow and then other aspects of the story are rushed. Otherwise, she's a solid writer and I'm looking forward to the rest of Ice Planet Clones.
Finally: Ice Planet Clones. I think this is self-explanatory i.t.o. who/what the new characters are.
3/5. The storyline is becoming a bit stale at this point, but I loved the twists with Corvak's story. Ruby Dixon needs a new editor to help not just with typos, but overall pacing.
Next up: Icehome. Did you think 3/5 was gonna turn me away from Not-Hoth? Think again! Now we don't have just barbarians, we have a whole menagerie of wackiness.
4/5. I liked the stories more and the new characters added a great dynamic. Editing still needs some polishing.
First up: Ice Planet Barbarians. I read the main stories, not the honeymoon books or the holiday specials.
Overall, 3/5. Cute stories, loveable barbarians, but the editing could use some work.

I finished The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J Maas yesterday and I'm still haunted by what happens in the final short story. I don't think I'll ever get over it.
I tried, I really did, but this is a DNF.
I read Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, Onyx Storm, and started We Need to Talk About Kevin while I got through half of this book.
Excellent premise, but way too many facts just thrown at you.
I'm also not the biggest fan of footnotes.
I have no idea who this man is, but I used to follow him on Twitter and I follow him here because he reminds me that there is still good in this world. I wish him nothing but the best, and I hope he inspires others to follow suit.

Towards the end of our girl's life, we were spending R10,000 (±£860 when adjusted for PPP) every 2-3 weeks on emergency vet visits. We're very fortunate to be in a dual income household and both incomes are high, but we were also prepared to take out loans if need be. It's tough when they're aging 🥺
