I want to be a journalist who tells the truth and I was told that people would hate me for it, so I'm prepared to have haters. Even if I didn't even know they existed.

A Blocklist is not harassment; if anything, it's the opposite. I make them because it's quicker to block people that way, and I block them if I want nothing to do with them.

Harassment is when someone is constantly trying to contact you. Blocking is when someone doesn't want to contact you at all.

Goes hand in hand with "I was mistreated back in the day, and I turned out fine; why shouldn't you be mistreated, too?" ideology.

If you wish suffering onto others, you did not in fact "turn out fine".

This goes for the "I had it hard in my day, why should I make shit easier for you?" bullshit too. Kick that fucking attitude. That just makes you look like the shitty kind of asshole.

The whole "I got mine; fuck everyone else" nihilism bullshit honestly pisses me off. It's so fucking uncompassionate and anti human. Grow some fucking empathy and help people come up behind you instead of pulling the ladder up.

You are entitled to your opinions/actions, and I, as well as others, are entitled to how we react to said things. That's how socializing works. I'm going to block you if I dislike what you've done/said and that's my right. If you don't like that, then oh fucking well. This is my personal boundary.
