UK and Ireland please.
And Australia
Yep! Happily boycotting. Lots of other options in UK. Including the library!
You both look like you are struggling to stay awake 😂 perhaps lulled to sleep by Keir’s timbre?
Thank you!!
midwives will likely discharge within 2-3 weeks postnatally, and perinatal trauma services don’t accept referrals until min. 6 weeks PN. Therefore relying on GP’s/health visitors to ask these questions and be aware of available services. So high chance the opportunity for referrals being missed.
A very useful tool. However it would be helpful to provide guidance on what actions to take with the scores - ie IAPT or referral to specialist perinatal trauma services.
Also..
Gold 😂
That’s what I was thinking of! Thank you 😁
Yes! 🙌
Beyond horrific. He is utter evil.
Goodness me. Some of the comments on this thread are very upsetting. I don’t think it’s helpful or kind to should demonise her family for making a terrible decision. Or we are no better than the other lot. Go after the conspiracy theorists who make millions peddling their untruths.
It's 10 years since the landmark Montgomery judgement on informed consent. Thanks to Maria Repanos and Elizabeth Maliakal of Hudgell's for their guest blog explaining what it meant for women giving birth. www.birthtraumaassociation.org/news-campaig...
Bought back some happy memories! 🤩
The total trashness of Married at First Sight - but even as an Brit/Aussie, boganics was new to me!
Classier than me, I’m learning about Boganics on MAFS, a lot less soothing I imagine
😂😂
Nope, keeping me up at night! You know it’s bad when Trump is the least worst option.
This resource is so good 😊

Respectfully disagree that Demi was robbed - MM had so much to do in that film, was also very brave (that twerking/lap dance scene) a young and unknown actor - she carried that film, gave it so much heart and and the ending has stayed with me. Demi was bloody mighty though 🤩
I always thought my dog was crossed with a bunny 😂

We need the Secretary of State to commission an independent investigation into why this is going on, and we need the courts to stop sending pregnant women to prison.

I’d not heard of these before, but yes. I’ve sometimes been envious of my infant feeding colleagues as BFi seems so clear cut! Although NICE has guidance, in practice, there is too much variation when/if PMH questions are asked & at inappropriate times eg. Immediately after birth, just to tick a box
It’s underfunded, fragmented and disjointed. Guidance can be opaque. Care and support options vary too much between areas. I question whether comprehensive National standards/guidance (like a BFI) in midwifery, health visiting and GP care would go some ways of addressing this?
